Description:
K-8 Co-Ed Soccer is a competitive sport where student athletes refine their skills in practices and competition. Team work, commitment, and dedication to improve throughout the season are nurtured by their coaches. Many competitive High School Athletes have come out of Â鶹Íø Soccer programs.
Typical Start Date:
January Tryouts. Games begin in mid-February.

Practices at the Schools
The seven K-8 Schools participate in hosting each other and playing away at each others schools for a total of 12 regular season games
At the end of the season the seven schools are seeded into a District Tournament to play for the Championship.
Who Participates:
Soccer is a tryout sport, All who wish to play need to tryout prior to the season. Tryouts are based on skills of kicking, passing, maneuvering with the ball through traffic, and general game play. Other factors taken into account during tryouts - grades, behavior, communication, sportsmanship, and good team work. Typically, teams are made up of 15 or more athletes.
There is a combined 7th and 8th Boys' and Girls' Team at each K-8 school.
Abraham Lincoln, Arroyo, Maryland, Mountain View, Orangewood, Sunnyslope, and Sweetwater
Prior training:
Girls' Soccer is highly competitive and there are tryouts. Having previous experience is helpful to making a team. Anyone interested should practice the fundamental skills.

The 2023-24 K-8 School Co-Ed Soccer Season came to a close on March 29.
