Attendance
Children should be in class each day unless they are sick. It is very important that a parent notifies the attendance clerk that a child will be absent (602-347-4311) on or before the day of the absence.
If the office does not receive a call, the absence is unexcused and therefore considered truant. Calls from students are not acceptable. Please refer to the District Parent/Student Handbook for more specific information on reporting your child’s absence

After School Care
The Phoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) through the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, is available at our school. Please click here for more information on the PAC.

Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch are served free of charge to all Â鶹Íø students.
Breakfast is served each morning for all students. Children may choose to eat breakfast or not. However, children need to be on time to eat breakfast with their classroom friends.
Lunches are served daily in the cafeteria.

Dress Code
Uniforms are not required, however, students must adhere to the dress code. Please click here for more information on our dress code.
All students are required to wear an ID while on school campus and to ride the bus.

ParentVUE
All parents and guardians have a ParentVUE account that can be used to access important information about their student such as grades and attendance. Parents/guardians will need an activation key to log on for the first time. You can obtain an activation key by visiting the school office and bringing a photo ID. If you have a registered email, you can also request account activation online. Please visit /ParentVUE to get started.

Preschool Programs
Sunnyslope offers Head Start Preschool. Students must qualify for this program and once qualified attend at no cost.

School Supplies
The Â鶹Íø provides all required school supplies. Teachers may send home a "wish list" with additional, optional items.

Sports and Extracurricular Activities

Student Drop-Off and Pickup
Students may not come on campus until 8:00 a.m. when there is adult supervision.

Transportation
Students may ride the bus to school based on thier home address. Bus routes are available online by clicking here.
Students may also ride bicycles to school.Bicycles must be walked on campus and secured in the bike rack. The school is not responsible for lost or damaged bicyles. Skateboards are not allowed.
Students may also walk to school. Please review with your child the safest, as well as quickest, route to and from school. Students must be advised to avoid strangers and to take other precautions in case of an emergency.

All visitors are required to sign in at the front office and recieve a visitors badge.
