Attendance
The legal custodial parent or legal guardian of the child must notify the school of the student's absence prior to the absence or when the absence occurs.
Excused Absences
Absences shall be excused for reasons such as: illness, doctor appointment, bereavement, family emergencies, or observance of major religious holidays of the family's faith. All absences incurred while registered in Â鶹Íø schools that exceed a total of 18 for the school year will be reported as unexcused despite the reason. Backpacks
Backpacks are not permitted on campus. We recommend a zipper binder to carry papers in.

Nutrition
Breakfast and lunch are provided to students at no charge.
Breakfast served in the classrooms 8:45 – 9:00 a.m. every morning and lunches are served daily in the cafeteria.

ParentVUE
All parents and guardians have a ParentVUE account that can be used to access important information about their student such as grades and attendance. Parents/guardians will need an activation key to log on for the first time. You can obtain an activation key by visiting the school office and bringing a photo ID. If you have a registered email, you can also request account activation online. Please visit /ParentVUE to get started.

School ID
All students are required to wear an ID while on school campus and on buses. To replace a defaced or lost ID the cost is $2. Replacement lanyards and pouches are 50¢ each.

The Â鶹Íø provides all required school supplies.

Student Drop-Off and Pickup
Students should be dropped off and picked up in the designated area of the main front parking lot. Please use the pickup/drop-off lane and not the drive-through lane.All students being dropped off after the normal starting time must sign in with the attendance clerk .Parents , guardians , or emergency contacts picking up their student early , must provide a valid picture ID to the attendance clerk. -
Transportation
Students walk or ride the bus to and from school, based on their home address. Bicycles must be secured by a lock inside the bike rack area. The school is not responsible for loss or damage of a bicycle. Scooters and skateboards are not permitted.

Uniform Guidelines
Students are required to be in uniform to attend school. The red Palo Verde T–shirt can be purchased from either of the vendors.

Bottoms are required to be navy blue , khaki, or black, uniform style. Jeans are not allowed. Shoes must be closed toe. Please refer to our Uniform Requirements.

Visiting Campus
All visitors to our campus must sign in at the Front Office and wear a Visitor's badge during their time on our campus.
