The mission and intent of the Â鶹Íø Title VI Indian Education Program is to work directly with Native American students enrolled with the Washington Elementary School District. Our goal is to provide educational and culturally-related academic needs of Native American/Alaskan Native students in the areas of reading, math, writing, cultural activities and attendance. The Â鶹Íø is proud to offer several programs exclusively for our Native American students and their families.
The Office of Indian Education, part of the U.S. Department of Education, determines the dollar amount of the grant based upon Native American enrollment and completion of student eligibility forms. In order to help Â鶹Íø broaden the scope of our Native American program and services, we encourage all Native American families to complete an eligibility form(ED-506 Form) for each student. Click here for the ED-506 Form. Please bring a copy of your student’s or parent(s) Certificate of Indian Blood(CIB), copy of Tribal ID or letter from Tribe, Nation, Band, or Community stating enrollment or descendency.
